Rep. Gene Wu proudly serves Texas House District 137 and is the newly elected Minority Leader of the Texas House Democratic Caucus. Rep. Wu recently led the historic 2025 Democratic walkout to block an unconstitutional gerrymander designed to hand Republicans additional congressional seats. He also stood with colleagues who refused police escorts intended to confine them inside the Capitol.
