Democrats of Washington County Neuberger Gala Fundraiser Theme: The Future is Reproductive Justice
Press Release: September 26, 2023
The Democratic Party of Washington County hosts its annual Neuberger Gala fundraiser on Friday, October 27th at the Tualatin Country Club. Our timely theme is “The Future Is Reproductive Justice.” All over the nation, reproductive rights are under attack–and we must ensure that we elect legislators who will fight for and protect access to reproductive health care in Oregon.
We are excited to bring you a panel of activists, legislators and experts on reproductive rights. Our moderator is An Do, former Executive Director of Planned Parenthood Oregon. Other panelists include Oregon Senate Majority Leader Kate Lieber, Dr. Maria Rodriguez, Megan Kovacs, board member of the NW Abortion Access Fund, and Cassie Purdy, Political Director for Planned Parenthood Associates.
We also welcome former Oregon Senator, Akasha Lawrence-Spence as the emcee, special guest Congresswoman Suzanne Bonamici, and many other local officials!
The Neuberger Gala, named in honor of former U.S. Senator Maurine Neuberger, is the biggest fundraiser of the year for the Washington County Democrats. The evening features fun raffle baskets, auction prizes, the Wall of Wine, the Dessert Dash, and more! Tickets can be purchased online at https://wcd.partysupporters.com/neuberger2023 Volunteers are available to answer questions at 503-626-7018.
The Neuberger Gala & Fundraiser will begin at 6:00 pm, followed by dinner at 7:00 pm. Tickets are $150 per person (Early Bird $135.00) We hope to see you there!
