El Grito and Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration!

The City of Hillsboro is kicking off Hispanic Heritage Month with an El Grito celebration on Saturday, September 17th! El Grito commemorates the beginning of Mexico’s war of independence from Spain in 1810. This will be a wonderful community and family celebration with music, food, vendors and interactive booths, and the Washington County Dems will have a booth there! We are going to have toys and candy for the kids, and political swag and voter registration forms for the grown-ups. Please don’t miss the fun and join us!
