Democrats of Washington County Seek Endorsement Requests for May 2021 Elections

Press Release: January 28, 2021

The 2021 Endorsements Committee of the Washington County Democrats invites all candidates seeking endorsement in advance of the May 18, 2021 election to let us know via website inquiry at

Candidate filing for the May 18, 2021 election begins Feb. 6 and ends March 18.

Early filing and endorsement will deliver maximum campaign benefits to the early bird candidate, as there are multiple subsequent key deadlines.

Any Washington County Democrat registered as a Democrat for more than 6 months prior to their election may apply for an endorsement after officially filing with Washington County, or their city, for an elective position. Full instructions are available on the website, steps to be endorsed include filling out a questionnaire, having an interview with the endorsement committee, and obtaining the endorsement of the WCDCC at their monthly meeting.”
