WashCo Dems 2020-101: Introduction to Washington County Democrats
The basic class for all volunteers, Neighborhood Leaders and PCPs (3 hours)
Our new 2020 — 101 Class is newly designed for those new to the party, as well as active members.
Join is at 8:30 am for potluck breakfast, and 9:00 am class begins. Coffee, tea and water will be provided.
The 2020 — 101 Class focuses on what it means to be a Democrat, and compares that to what it means to be a Republican. We will teach you ways to talk to people you disagree with so you can be a personal advocate. It then goes on to explain briefly how the WashCoDems are organized, who our leaders are, and how you can get involved.
We spend a bit of time explaining the role of the Prescient Committee Person and how it relates to our organization, and then we finish up with the important role of the Neighborhood Leader.
2020-101 will be taught throughout the year on the first Saturday of February, March, April, June, August, September and October.
